Cindy Lou: Mezzo Soprano, sexy, yet reformed ‘bad girl.’
Suzy: Alto, happy-go-lucky and pregnant again.
Betty Jean: Bass, self-annointed clown and wanna-be leader.
SETTING
Harper’s Hardware on Main Street, USA; 1968.
The hardware aisles are pushed aside to make room for the stage set-up for The Wonderettes.
You'll also want as many twinkle lights as you can fit onstage.
PROPS
The usual Christmas-type items for decorations, as well as a variety of ukuleles (3), harmonica (1), castanets (4 sets), headband antlers, and fake snow (by the handfuls!).
This is a FUN prop show!
Fun and sparkly 60s holiday wear, created by Missy. She also helps Suzy create a lovely snowflake outfit (at right) for Suzy Snowflake. And don’t forget the matching silver shoes (boots for Cindy Lou)!
ORCHESTRATIONS
Orchestrated for 3-piece combo: piano, bass & percussion.
Additional pieces can make the music rock.
Fully-orchestrated tracks are also available for rental.
